FI-60 design integrates two essential fiber tools into one device

Unintentional disconnection of live fibers during installation, testing, and troubleshooting is often a cause of service interruptions. With the new FI-60 Fiber Identifier (LFI), users can easily detect optical signals without disconnecting fibers or interrupting network traffic. VIAVI's SafeChekTM system ensures safe and repeatable coupling with various fiber types, eliminating the need for expensive custom molds.
The FI-60 conveniently converts to an optical power meter (OPM), offering double the value for your investment and reducing the number of tools you need to carry. Simply remove the LFI probe attachment, connect the appropriate adapter (2.5mm or 1.25mm), and insert the connector to perform power measurements. This versatile tool displays, stores, and recalls optical power measurements for each selectable wavelength. Users can download stored data via USB interface.
The FI-60 Fiber Identifier can also connect to FiberChek2, providing integrated inspection, optical power (OPM) testing, and reporting capabilities.
